Denver – Granby – Estes, August 11-12, 2012

Check out these logistics from the 3-course weekend Zen Mustache completed on August 11-12, 2012. We started with a 5am wake-up call to play at the DaVita 5k run/walk fundraiser in Denver. After packing up gear we headed out for groceries and other supplies, then boogied up to the first annual Ranchstock festival outside of Granby. Great afternoon/evening of true mountain music. Three full bands, a host of other musicians, and overnight camping. Then the next morning it was up early again, packing tents and driving over Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, to find some showers and some breakfast, before heading over to ZM’s first-ever wedding gig at Wild Basin Lodge outside of Estes Park. Amazing logistics, and a great group of guys – dare I say friends – tackling the prospect of three shows in 2 days in mountains. This email came from Ted the day before we engaged:
